Traveller from Woodbridge stayed in March,2008
Guest Comment:
The hotel is well situated and has been extensively refurbished. However, the internal appearance is generally colourless and drab, especially in the dining room and bedrooms. This makes it a rather depressing place to stay. As a result virtually nobody uses the restaurant for evening meals or lunches. The breakfast menu was very limited but what was provided was OK. There are excellent restaurants within a few 100m so feeding is not a problem.
Top Tip:
The old town is stuffed with restaurants. The Monopol recommended we use a restaurant associated with a parent hotel near the Main Square and offered a 20% discount if we did. It was certainly much brighter than the Monopol's but we were not taken by the menu and did not try it.
