Plenty of character and located in the heart of the Jewish sector. Comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Wholesome breakfast

The hotel was excellent except the mornings we went for breakfast the water for tea was cold.
The courtyard did not open until 5.00 p.m. and it would have been lovely after a days sightseeing to have been able just to sit in the courtyard, relax or read and take in the sun especially as there was no communal area or bar area close to reception. Places nearby were excellent it just seemed a shame not to utilise what is an asset of the hotel.

When you come out of the hotel and turn left each block down JOZEFA has three or four restaurants our favourite was MOMENTS.
We took a private taxi from the hotel to visit the Salt Mines and went early in the morning to avoid all the crowds this was well worth the extra few zloty cost.
We visited the Saint Sister Faustina Shrine on the way back from the Salt Mines, a truly remarkable experience.

Good location for the city centre and the old Jewish quarter. no tea making facilities in the room although there is a restaurant it is impossible to get a cup of tea out of hours.

we asked for a high level floor and non-smoking. Maybe due to the fact smoking is everywhere in Poland they put us on a high floor (smoking)over-riding the non smoking request. Non-smoking is floor 1. Didn't realise how much fresh air means. Great breakfast btw.

Plenty of vegetarian choice around Krakow which was a pleasant surprise for an eastern european country. I don't like shopping but the shopping mall by the train station is a pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our visit.
Hotel was clean, food good and staff were friendly.
In a run down area and I was accosted at the hotel entrance by a man who was begging insistently.

Four days Wed to Sun was ample. We booked tours with the Information Office across the street from the hotel. A walking tour round the old town on Thurs; a trip to Auschwitz on Friday; Info Office advised taking a service bus to the Salt Mines on Saturday which we did successfully. We ate evening meals in restaurants in the Old Town and were well pleased with quality and price.

Book a taxi to find hotel on your first night - our driver had to stop and ask directions a couple of times
